Should I get my exterior detailed before having X-Kote installed?
This is not only a requirement, but it is common sense in the automotive detailing industry. X-Kote is the same as a factory clear coat, which not only corrects the issues with your paintwork but is a permanent application. Here at Diamond Shine Detail & Ceramic Coatings, I will decontaminate your finish before hand applying X-Kote.
How well do ceramic coatings pair with clear bras?
I get this question quite a bit, and always have the same answer. Public car washes do NOT compare to a professional exterior detailing service for two major reasons. Firstly, professional exterior detailing is safer than a public car wash, cleaning your ride without scratching it. Secondly, an exterior detailing package reaches all the unique crevasses and hidden areas of your ride that need to be cleaned completely, while a public car wash simply sprays a bit of soap and water haphazardly.
